How to output simple content from the model

In order to output simple content from the Xomega model in the generated document you need to add a text content control to the appropriate place in the template and specify XPath for the content as the title and val as the tag as follows. - Type in some placeholder text in the MS Word template where the generated content will be output.
- Open the Developer tab. If you don't see it, open the Word Options dialog and check the "Show Developer tab in the Ribbon" check box.
- Select the placeholder text and click the Aa button to insert a plain text content control.
- Click on the Properties button.
- Enter the XPath that selects the simple content from the model into the Title field. Use the $ctx variable for the context node, as well as any built-in or custom functions as appropriate.
- Enter val into the Tag field and click OK.
